  • What is HAMILTON about?
  • HAMILTON is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander HAMILTON, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON is the story of America then, as told by America now.
  • When will Hamilton be in Orlando?
  • HAMILTON will make its Central Florida debut January 22-February 10, 2019 as part of the 18/19 season of FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando at Dr. Phillips Center.
  • When will single tickets go on sale?
  • A public on sale date for HAMILTON starts on Friday, November 16 at 9 a.m.
  • How do I get tickets?
  • Tickets to Hamilton are available at both drphillipscenter.org/Hamilton & www.broadway.com. These two sites are the ONLY authorized sources for Hamilton tickets at Dr. Phillips Center. If you buy tickets from any other websites, you may be buying invalid seats and Dr. Phillips Center cannot protect your purchase or guarantee that your ticket will be accepted for entry.
  • What is the preferred method to purchase a ticket?
  • Your best chance to score tickets will be on drphillipscenter.org. A limited number of tickets will be sold on a first come, first-served basis at our box office and there is a strict limit of four (4) tickets per household address. Due to demand, we anticipate there may be a high volume of people on November 16. Please take that into account when attempting to purchase in person.
  • How much will tickets cost?
  • Tickets prices range from $76.50 to $199.50. Front Orchestra VIP tickets are $429.50. Full details are available at drphillipscenter.org/Hamilton
  • Is there a ticket limit?
  • There is a strict limit of four (4) tickets per household address to allow as many people as possible to see the show. After all available tickets are sold, all online purchases will be reviewed. Any and all purchases found violating the HAMILTON ticket policy will be canceled without further consideration.
  • How do I protect my tickets?
  • Each ticket has a one-of-a-kind barcode. Sharing this bar code online can compromise your tickets. Do not share a photo of the barcode on your HAMILTON tickets with anyone, especially on social media. Keep them in a safe place.
  • How do I avoid scammers?
  • You should avoid unintentionally buying tickets from scalpers reselling tickets at many times over face value. Only purchase tickets from drphillipscenter.org and/or the Bill and Mary Darden Box Office.
  • Will I be able to buy additional HAMILTON tickets as a Subscriber?
  • While you’ll enjoy your subscriber access to purchase additional tickets prior to the public for most shows on the season, no additional subscription tickets will be available to purchase for HAMILTON. This is due to the record number of subscribers. Subscribers will be notified of the date of the public on-sale and may still purchase single tickets at the on-sale.
  • When will I get my HAMILTON subscription tickets?
  • To ensure the validity and security of your tickets, all subscription tickets will be mailed to you. Printing at home will not be available.
  • Can I exchange my HAMILTON tickets for another performance?
  • Broadway Across America subscriber ticket exchanges for HAMILTON will be restricted and tickets for HAMILTON cannot be transferred online. You will be notified when the exchange window of HAMILTON will begin.

    Single tickets purchased for other shows cannot be exchanged for HAMILTON.
  • I’d like to bring a group – how can I do that?
  • Group Sales are not available for HAMILTON.
  • Will there be ASL performances?
  • Yes, an ASL performance will be available Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2.pm. More information on how to purchase will be available at a later date.
  • Is there an age restriction?
  • Due to some strong language and non-graphic adult situations, we recommend ages 10+`
  • Will there be a lottery for HAMILTON?
  • There will be a digital lottery. To be the first to know about the lottery, sign up for our email list at drphillipscenter.org/email, or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get the latest updates on the show.
  • Will Lin-Manuel Miranda be in the show?
  • No, this will be an all new cast, but it will be produced with the same attention to detail and high quality as the Broadway production.
